I can't really accept that a new year is here and that we are in 2017. I just passed my golden year of the mission That means that I was here from January to December... its so strange how time passes...

Yes the popcorn balls were so delicious and I shared them with the family that I am teaching and we had a great time on Christmas night :D

This week was pretty low key to be honest because everyone was extra busy jaja but Sunday was rather interesting. It is the first time I have ever presided in a sacrament meeting and also lead the meetings. Something happened and no one from the branch presidency was there and well yeah I had to take control. It was fun even though we only had like 6 people there including us... but ya know where there are 2 or more gathered together He is with us :D 

I am sorry if I have gotten kind of numb spiritually. I was talking to my zone leader about that and we just are so used to these crazy miracles happening that I don't even really take notice sometimes. I am trying to write the little things down in my agenda to thank God at night about.

I love the mission and I want to finish hard

I miss my friends almost as much as I miss you guys! Almost jajaja

I never have gotten sick to be honest. Like I'm not even lying jaja. The only thing that has happened was my toe that you know about. Soooo don't worry so much!

We played sports and it was amazing jajaja. We played hockey by putting powder  on the gym floor and running around with brooms. It was the bestest thing ever! jaja I feel old now though because everything is super sore jajaja. I fell down a bunch sooo jajaja.

We are super happy here teaching and working, even though my comp is a new one. I was going to get a new kid but nope jajaja. I am with Elder Ari, he has 16 months and is from Peru. I decided to learn something from him. Like that's what came to my mind when I got with him is that he has something to teach me so I will learn it!

I had a really cool week to be honest with my birthday and all that. 

First on Wednesday with the zone class the ZL's bought me a cake and we just chilled and ate it.

Then the work was amazing and we found a family of 9! They are cool and we really want to see them progress. So yeah pretty excited.

Then we just basically ate all day on Friday jajaja. Thursday night we bought 3/4´s kilo of tacos al pastor and ate like kings to start off my birthday, then on Friday a family of investigators that we had stopped visiting called us to invite us to eat. So we went to our normal food appointment and ate pozole, my favorite, and then to the family for some chicken soup! They told me they felt bad for not going to church and wanted to go back! 

Then on Sunday they showed up and are super cool again!

Today we got changes and guess what! I am going to have my 6th kid.... jajajaja His name is Elder Morales jajaja but he is going to finish up his training with me so yeah 6 kids so far...wow jajajaja.

Other than that just day to day things.

In a package can you send me just cool things to give away. That would be the best thing to give me to be honest.

I have about 20 baptisms right now and I hope to have a few more.

The service thing was cool. I hope you guys are doing the whole 25 ways to be like Christ this Christmas! My thursday the first was really fun. The branch is really small here so we couldn't do anything really big but we went and cleaned the backyard of an older investigator that is super cool but just cannot get baptised and it was fun jajaja. It reminded me of like going to Gpa´s to rake up pine needles because we just cleaned out the leaves and cut up some trees that were growing low. It was a good day.

I couldn't call you on the 2nd though but I would like to just tell you that I am so grateful for everything you did for me growing up. Like you just did everything. I have learned sooooo much growing up that has helped me a ton to be better and be ready for what life throws at me. Thanks for everything even though I was a hard kid to raise and that I made some pretty huge mistakes. I love you guys so much and I cannot wait to talk to you in 3 weeks! 

Other than that we had a cool activity here in Vega on Saturday. The stake did like a nativity play and we just did it in the park here. It actually was pretty cool and there were lots of people that came that were not members. The missionaries sang hymns in Spanish and English, it was fun. I hope we can work on those people that came and have some good success because the Lord has been testing us here in Vega de Alatorre recently.

Other than that just one more week untill changes and yeah I suppose my birthday is on Friday. I will have to figure something cool to do. I love you guys so much!

That's kind of my life right now just like the same things and everything is pretty much overall pretty sweet jajaja.

I love the mission. My personal mission has been amazing. I am a leader for some reason and I really am trying to help others understand how to do this and how to really be a good missionary.

I have a ton of flojera and everyone is saying that I am going to train again in a couple of weeks because that is what president does ajajajaja. Maybe it will help me jajaja.

This area is like the coolest. We find people so much and it really helps me because we just find family after family. Its hard to help them progress because they are pretty un-educated here but they feel the spirit. Just its hard that they don't know how to read half of the time....

Loving every second and such.

Everything is good and I should be able to baptise on my birthday in a couple of weeks and that is pretty exciting. We will also baptise this next week on Sunday. So the work is progressing really nicely!

Other than that I am good and not at all sick. I have not gotten this kind of weird sickness that has been in the mission for a while called Zika or something. Soooo who knows I am doing alright!

Love you guys so much and just about a month to talk to you guys again!

I don't have much to say about this week, but it was really crazy and fun :) 

We went to Martinez (the closest city to me about 2 hours and some) about 4 times this week for several conferences and such. That meant just more and more traveling jaja but we got a ton of work done and we have seen a lot of people progress and learn so much. I love this area because the people just accept things with faith and they do them!

I actually saw Maddie on her last day here in the mission. She has become one of my best friends and I really miss her already to be honest. She supported me a lot and really looked after me so you need to tell her mom that I miss her and that she is amazing and invite them to eat or something jajaja.

My companion is really awesome and is really doing a great job at not letting me be tired jajaja. We work really hard and I really try to complete my responsibilities as a DL and I am really loving it to be honest :)

Time flies and things change but I Love the Mission!

My week was good. It is kind of sad being in a goma again. Where there are dogs in our sacrament meeting and the two super old guys bless the sacrament and can't even pronounce the prayer, but they try their best. But then it has the familiar charm to it. There is a lot of work here and to be honest I must have felt and gotten your prayers because I just kept on rolling even when I just didn't want to. 

We are going to baptise 2 on the 20th and I found a family of 5 that looks like it could progress these next few weeks. I just have to work really hard with them so that they understand. That is my absolute favorite part about the mission. Just teaching! I don't like finding or contacting or walking or even studying that much anymore. Just teaching is amazing!

I am doing great, time is winding down and I am watching people that I love end the mission and go home. Maddie Xhristensen is going home this change and I don't know what I am going to do! Just keep walking, I guess.

Not much to say just another crazy goma with crazy things happening! 

Hey so what's up with the stake now? Did we keep the same president or not?

Transfers!

I am going to Vega de La Torre which is another place in the middle of nowhere like Cerro Azule was jajaja. It is about 2 hours away from any other missionary....

But I am excited because it is said to be a place to baptize a lot and the work is really good. Also it is on the beach soooo :) Yay I am going with a missionary that I was actually his zone leader and companion for a couple of changes. His name is Elder Guzman jajaja. We were in a trio a while back.

Other than that the big news of the week is that the family got baptized and it was super duper cute and amazing and I am super happy! G, G and D! Gosh they are soooo amazing and it is the greatest thing ever to leave an area baptizing a super awesome family!

That is crazy what Landen has been up to, it sounds like he has grown up a bit. Those years in high school are a huge change so I am excited to get home and chill with him to be honest. Like he likes alot of the stuff that I like soooo woo!

We had a pretty good week. Just the rain keeps falling down super crazy, but other than that we are super duper excited because our family will be baptised this next week! Oh gosh they are so amazing and I love, love, love to teach them and seen them progress how they have. It will be such a great blessing to see them get baptised in my last week in Tetzuitlan. 

So yeah changes are coming and I already have 6 months in this area so I am expecting changes jajaja.

Not much else to say just crazy dog and cow stories to tell at home jaja.

It is so weird that everyone is like old... Like everytime you say that Holden stopped by it weirds me out because he is like not living at home! What world is this?

My week was cool though kind of crazy because we just went nuts with divisions and also another visit to Xalapa for divisions with the assistants jajaja. It was way fun because both of the asistants are totally like my bestest friends and I was the Zone leader of one of them jajaja. 
Other than that I have not really been doing much jajaja. My week just kind of weirded out. This change will be 6 months here in Tetziutlan Puebla and I only have like 2 areas left..... 4 changes 24 weeks jajajajaja. I am starting to miss you guys a lot.

We have that family that I send you a picture of that is progressing like super, super well and I hope to baptize them before the change ends because they seriously are amazing jajaja.

Other than that not much to be honest just being crazy and sleeping in my onsie and going to the gym all the time jajaja.

Well I am doing good but also really tired to be honest! We started getting up at 5:45 to go to the gym in the morning again! I have been pretty sore, but I really love lifting. It is such a peaceful time for me that I do not have to think about much and it really gets all the stress out of me :)

Other than that it just rained and rained and rained jajaja. We just worked and worked and worked. We are progressing really well with that family that I told you about. We got to teach them about temples and just almost everything already and they are really excited!

Unfortunately, the rain really bummed them out and they did not make it to church on Sunday so we had to change their baptism for the 30th not the 23rd... sad. I really hope that I will be here for their baptism because I am almost sure that I am going to leave this area on the 1st of November with changes. 

We had consilio de leaderes on Tuesday and it was pretty heavy. President talked all about repentance and how we are not using it as missionaries and taught us how. I felt so terrible like I was a really bad sinner or something. Then the worst is I had to teach that to my zone the following day and it seriously felt like daggers were leaving my mouth. It hurt jajaja. Lots of missionaries talked to president to repent and almost 8 missionaries went home.... it was crazy. Me and my comp are working hard to repent of those little things and be better!

Because of the repentance and all one of the trainers had to leave, so he left us his new kid jajaja. I have 5 kids now in the mission! His name is Elder Monreal from Durango and we only had him for a couple of days but it was really fun!

Other than that we are doing good jajaja. Just working hard under the rain and I almost have 18 months!
